Drugs worth almost three million euro were seized at Rosslare Europort in Co Wexford, Revenue has said.
The suspected cannabis was discovered by Revenue officers concealed within a freight unit which had arrived on a ferry from Dunkirk in France.
The haul was made up of around 145kg of suspected herbal cannabis and around 7.9kg of suspected cannabis resin, with a combined estimated street value of over 2,947,000 euro.
One man, in his 20s, was arrested by gardaĆ­ and is being held under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act at a station in Co Wexford.
