Man in his 20s killed in Dublin road collision

A man in his 20s has been killed in a collision in Finglas, Co Dublin.

The incident, involving one vehicle, took place on the R121 at The Ward at around 12.40am on Saturday morning.

The male driver of the car was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for treatment of serious injuries.

A man travelling in the vehicle, also in his 20s, was taken to hospital.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam, who were travelling on the R121 between 11.50pm on Friday and 12.40am on Saturday are asked to contact gardai.
